Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small text files placed on a device. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can remember a preference without sending it automatically with every page request. This site uses local storage to remember your separate analytics and advertising- measurement choices. With advertising measurement allowed, session storage can also retain approved campaign parameters within the current browser-tab session.
How we use measurement
The Google tag can load with analytics and advertising storage denied so that your consent state is respected from the start of a visit. Before you allow analytics, Google Analytics cookies are not set and Google may receive only limited cookieless consent and measurement signals. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page use, navigation and completed enquiries.
Advertising measurement is a separate optional category. Microsoft UET can load early with advertising storage denied so that Microsoft Advanced Consent Mode receives the denied default before any tag event. When you allow advertising measurement, Microsoft Advertising and any configured Google Ads conversion tag can attribute a completed enquiry to an advertisement. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages and attachments from enquiry forms are not sent to advertising tags.
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides privacy-first page-use and performance measurement without cookies or cross-site user tracking. It does not replace or change either Google preference.

Managing your preferences
You can allow, decline or later change each optional category. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies and local storage, although clearing storage will cause the site to ask again.
Privacy and updates
Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare handle measurement data under their own privacy terms. Max Marine uses the resulting reports to understand page use, assess campaign performance, identify performance problems and improve this website.
