## Operational Context

Diamond Offshore's Egyptian campaign ran four rigs in parallel across two coasts: the Mediterranean off Abu Qir and the Gulf of Suez oil province at Ras Ghareb, with movements routed through Hurghada on the Red Sea side. Coordination had to work across different port gateways, transfer routes and supply requirements while the offshore schedule kept moving.

## Client Challenge

Four rigs split between the Mediterranean and the Gulf of Suez meant two operating theatres running in parallel, each with its own crew rotations, supply runs and customs requirements.

## Max Marine Scope

## Execution Model

The operating model gave the client one Egyptian coordination point for rig agency, people, customs, equipment and supplies across two coastal regions.

Max Marine supported the rigs from shore at Abu Qir and Ras Ghareb through agency, crew movements, customs and supply coordination, connecting Mediterranean and Gulf of Suez requirements under one accountable Egyptian structure.

## Results & Operational Value

Diamond Offshore received one local rig-support structure across two Egyptian regions, reducing the need to mobilise separate coordination models for each coast.

Selected rigs supported included Ocean Spur, Ocean Heritage, Ocean Lexington and Ocean Endeavor.

Two operating regions were coordinated through one Egyptian shore-side structure.

Crew, customs, supply and equipment support were handled as connected workstreams.
